Banch

Banch is an extension of my interest in exploring how digital fabrication methods, such as cnc-milling, can create novel forms of letterpress wood type. Banch was born out of the desire to find ways to minimize the tedium of tool changes (if using cnc-milling) or additional tooling (if produced on a pantograph router) during the wood type production process, while also embracing an interest to make smaller type, 18-point to 3-line/pica.
