The Realm Collection is a texture-focused type family intended for setting text. It began as an experiment to find the boundaries of a typographic family and evolved over time into something more cohesive. Small hints of the drawings and pen models referenced can still be seen between the three different styles. Realm is inspired by the setting and diction of the Gene Wolfe’s science fantasy tetralogy ‘The Book of the New Sun’: a distant medieval future filled with decrepit advanced technology and obscure, archaic language.
