Fermina

Fermina is the typographic translation of one of the main characters of the Love in Times of Cholera’s Book, written by Gabriel García Márquez. The features “long bones, thin and straight, hair cut on the diagonal” were used to define the structure of the letters.

I believe that like the music, the letterforms can generate different emotions, and I like express myself throught the draw letters. Their different Weights are complemented each other and allows you to see the different traits of Fermina's personality.
Fermina is designed to be used in text blocks, for editorial projects and web design.
Fermina is very comfortable to be used and adapts very well in different formats.
During the design process, fermina conserved the simplicity on their structure.
The physical description of Fermina Daza is evident in all variations of the type family.
