Eusebius
David Huang
My typeface is a revival of Jenson–one of the first roman type to be printed. The inspiration source of my typeface is a latin translation of De Evangelica Prapatione, first written in Greek in the early fourth century by Eusebius (hence the name of my typeface). It was later translated and reprinted by Nicolas Jenson in 1470. This was the first document which was printed in the roman type by Jenson.
The typeface strikes to find a balance between preserving the historical details and adapting to potential usages in contemporary instances.
